I was able to sneak home to TN (with Rachel) and surprise my mom (and dad) for her birthday. She was slightly shocked, as you will see in the video. It was so fun to see everyone. Owen, Matt, and Megs stayed in CDA with dad and went to a babysitter for a few days while he worked. They were not to fond of that situation and were quite glad when I came home. Owen complained that she made them take really, really, long naps. I did miss the kids while in TN, as did my family, but it was nice to be able to get to know my nephews and niece without having to worry so much about where my kids were, and what they were destroying. It really was a great trip!!

That was a GREAT reaction! I'm so glad you were able to go surprise them! Aren't surprises fun?? And happy birthday to your Mom! I'm sure it is a birthday she'll never forget...
