The weather was perfect for a parade on the 4th. Slightly overcast with a nice breeze. I always feel so bad for all those participating in the parade when it is hot, but not this year!We had a perfect spot to watch the festivities. Reed's office is on the second floor, and there is a balcony, so we were able to have an awesome view of the patriotic passersbys.
Later, we set off some "budget" fireworks, which means about 50% of them actually went off properly. I guess next time we will just buy 50% less of the good ones! The kids had a great time, though, so I guess it was a success!

Your kids are getting so big. Rachel is adorable I cannot wait to meet her. I only got one picture of my kids on the 4th in all there 4th get up, and it didn't look great so I don't think I will be posting mine.

What a fun time! The kids are adorable in all of the red/white/blue. You all look so great! I love the watermelon pictures too. And Rachel is adorable - her smile melts my heart! Give the kids a kiss for us! We sure miss you guys!
