Saturday I rode my bike to Higgins Point. It is a beautiful route (about 25 miles round trip from our house) as you are able to ride next to the shoreline, or above it, most of the way. Since summer is sadly coming to a close, I thought I would bring along my camera and share the beautiful scenery, so I can remember it when the winter comes! Maybe it will give me something to look forward to, when the snow is falling and we are freezing our you know what's off!
It was a fun ride, even though I crashed for the first time.
Embarrassed!
Reed had the house all cleaned when I came home, which was a great surprise! I thought for sure he would be asleep on the couch, since earlier that morning, he rode 50+ miles on his bike and then came home and ran a 10K. Crazy boy. He did get a nice long nap, though.

So, are you going to do a triathlon?
That scenery is gorgeous. I am jealous! Any PR jobs up there?
That was Kristen, not Cory.
That is my goal. I have the bike and run down, the swim is what eludes me. I am a horrible swimmer. I am hoping to take some lessons soon.
As for PR jobs here, it is a pretty small town. They probably are not up to par as to what San Fran. would be! We would love to have you, though!!!
Okay, so it is beautiful there! I wish I could bike somewhere like that, but they best it gets is the RIO GRANDE...oooohhhh,aaaaahhhh! No, not so much. Okay, so I have started the running part, gotta get started on the rest of it though. I read an article that says to do one at a time though, so a week in, I am right on schedule. Talk to you soon.
I don't know who I am the most proud of...you for doing this or Reed for helping you do it! Yeah, we're all jealous of the beautiful scenery now, but when you're measuring your snowfalls by the feet.....not so much.
Love you guys, Aunt Vickie
Wow what a beautiful bike route! I'm impressed you can bike 25 miles, I'm done after 5 miles on the bike at the gym.
You are such a hottie. Good luck with the training. Are you doing a sprint?
