We took the kids to the beach on Monday evening. This beach is great and is very kid friendly. Plus it is less than 10 min. from our house (always a bonus). A storm seemed to follow us there, so it was a bit windy and a little cool. Not really optimal beach conditions. The kids had a blast, of course. Matthew spends most of his time in the sand, while Meghan doesn't mind the deeper water. Owen was even brave enough to jump off the docks into the deep water, with Dad there to catch him. Reed amazed us all with his back flips off the dock, a skill he attributes to spending the whole summer at the pool as a kid!
