Silverwood Fun

On Saturday, May 3, Reed, Bette, and Owen went to Silverwood Theme Park north of Coeur d'Alene. It has some pretty fast roller coasters. We took Owen on the cork screw first and then to the Tremors! It went 65 mph. We may have held our breaths the whole time, we can't remember. When we got off Owen shook his finger at the roller coaster and exclaimed, "I am never going to ride that thing again!" He even said a prayer before the coaster took off.
This picture was taken right after a fun ride of bumper boats, where you shoot water at each other. Owen even got to drive his own boat.
Owen got to drive this car all by himself. Luckily it was slow going and there was a guide in the middle of the little road.

The airplane ride was a favorite of Owen's and he loved the fact that he could pull the stick and the plane went up in the air. He was in complete control.
Reed on Timber Terror, another fast roller coaster - only 50 mph. He is in the last car, front row. He went on this one 3 times.
Reed and Owen on the bumper boats. It's hard to see the squirt feature, but you can sure soak everyone you get close to, but the they also soak you back.
Owen and Reed on the Dumbo ride, which was Owen's choice right after the Tremors roller coaster.
Reed braved the Panic Plunge, which takes you straight up maybe 10 stories. It then drops you at about 45 mph. Reed said the anticipation of dropping made him nervous and there is no backing out.
