Kids say the funniest things. . .

"Matthew, what did you dream about?"

"Um, Spiderman, Superman, Batman, Black Spiderman, and Ironman."

"Wow, what did they do in your dream?"

"Um, spin webs."

Few minutes later. . .

"Just kidding mom!"

For Mother's Day, our Primary gave each mom a recipe book made by the kids. It consists of recipes the leaders collected from talking with the little ones about their favorite foods that mom makes. Here are my kiddos' entries:

Matthew: "I like apples. You cut the apples and then you add a hamburger. Put ketchup. Squirt! Squirt!"

Meghan: "Spinach salad (I admit I do make a lot of spinach salad, but I don't know if Meghan has ever actually eaten it). Ingredients: tomatoes, spinach, beans, cheese. It tastes really good! My mom makes it a lot."

Owen: "Cheesecake. She mixes the cake with 3 cups of flour, 4 eggs, 10 cups of cheese, and 3 cups of whipped cream. Then she bakes it in the oven for 60 minutes."

cute idea for a mother's day gift. It makes me wonder what Parker would say if I asked him . . . I loved reading the recipes!

yes!! I feel complete now that I have your link again. So you are passing the baton but you don't want it back is what you're saying? The other day I was at the store and a lady says to me "you have your hands full." I could tell it wasn't a compliment.
