Welcome to Couer D'Alene, ID

A couple of days after Christmas, we said goodbye to our lovely Albuquerque home and began our trek to Coeur D'Alene, ID. We have to give much thanks to Reed's parents for their endless help during this whole process. We are eternally grateful to them, and will soooo miss being so close to them.

Our move to CDA was fairly uneventful (we only ran out of gas, once, in Montana). We were blessed with good weather the majority of the trip.

The kids were excited to get out of the car, though, and ran around like crazy once we reached our new rental house. The moving truck arrived days late, so they had plenty of room to run around in the empty house. They didn't even mind sleeping on the floor for over a week!
The weather here has been quite the change for us. It has snowed or rained pretty much every day since we arrived. After getting outfitted in snow boots the kids have enjoyed playing in the snow. Owen was super excited to get a new sled.
