We drove around Lake Coeur D'Alene after church on Sunday. We were hoping to catch a glimpse of the bald eagles feeding on salmon (a fairly popular event here). We saw one eagle, but no fish. Owen was quite worried that the eagle was going to eat his hair, while Matthew was equally concerned that it would poke holes in the roof of the car.
We found out later that the peak season for watching the eagles is in December, so we will try again next year. The sunset, and scenery, were beautiful, and the kids had fun trying to skip rocks over the lake like Dad.
It looks like a beautiful place. Your house looks nice too!!! I liked your Christmas slide show. I can't believe how much snow you all have there! We miss you like crazy here!!!!!!! I hope that you are all doing great!!
