Rachel Mae Christensen

Please welcome our newest member of the family: Rachel Mae Christensen. Rachel was born yesterday (April 10) at 12:35 PM weighing in at a whopping 6 lbs even and 19 inches. The first thing the nurse said as she was cleaning her up was: When was her due date? This is in reference to Rachel's peanut size body that surprised us all. The doctor thought she would be 7-8 lbs, but that was not to be the case. At least this time, and for the first time, Rachel hasn't spent any time in the NICU as with our other kids. Mommy and daughter continue to get to know each other and are both healthy and well. Meanwhile, the kids are driving Grammy up the wall back home, but what's new.

She is sooo cute, I am so sad that you are not here so I can hold her. LOVE the name, but I suppose you already knew that. Sorry I have been a bad friend and not called to check on you, but it has been a fun couple of days, I will fill you in later. Congrats! We miss you all...so forget about California and move to ABQ!
