We enjoyed a day of nice weather this past week. The kids loved being outside for a change. (It was short-lived, as I am typing this, it is snowing) The picture to the left is classic Matthew. He is intently studying the handful of dirt, and then in the next picture he throws it as hard as he can. He pretty much does that with everything he gets his hands on.We had quite the scare with Meghan last week. I took her into urgent care (she had been breathing heavily) on Saturday and was told she needed to be put on oxygen immediately, and admitted to the hospital.
Four hours later (yes, that is how long we waited for the ambulance, they wouldn't let me drive her) we were at the hospital. She was later diagnosed with RSV, and was on oxygen until the following Wednesday. We left the hospital Tuesday afternoon. She also got what one doctor called "viral arthritis", which was new to me. She was unable to put weight on her left foot/leg for almost 3 days. By the end of the third day she was able to walk somewhat. It was really weird, and thankfully, she is all back to normal now.
In the bottom picture the kids are playing in Owen's toy organizer bins. They love to dump out all the toys (which brightens my day) and sit in them and pretend they are flying, driving, etc. Of course they have the most fun when Reed picks them up and "helps" them fly in their pretend airplanes.
