Halloween

We are happy to report that we spent $0 on Halloween costumes this year. Matthew wore Owen's old giraffe costume, Meghan wore a cat costume I got on clearance last year for $6, and Owen wore the same power ranger costume from last year (his request). Redundant, yes, but economical as well!

We took the kids to the annual church trunk or treat, and that was enough for the twins. They practically went ballistic over the candy. Crying, hitting, biting, and screaming ensued after we pried the candy filled pumpkins from their sticky little hands.

Owen handled the massive consumption of sugar a bit better, so he was allowed to go trick or treating around the neighborhood. He announced that trick or treating was his favorite holiday. He loves to be "scared" and genuinely enjoys talking to every person who hands out the candy. He also generously shared his candy with us all, even the candy bars!
